Notable flavours of ripe stone fruits, like white peaches and golden nectarines, are predominant on the palate, with bitter melon and rock melon chiming in for a well-rounded fruitiness. There's a hint of leeks cooking in butter on the nose, evoking a sensual memory of the Adelaide terroir. The wine has been aged in French oak barrels, framing the fruit with a creaminess and the toasted oak finish that Chardonnay is known for.
